Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our salon. We kindly ask you to review the following terms and conditions, which help us maintain the highest level of care, service, and professionalism for every guest.

Pricing

Our service prices are based on time, and they may be adjusted if additional time, product, or expertise is required — particularly for longer or thicker hair. We reserve the right to amend quoted prices following an in-person consultation, where your hair’s individual needs can be properly assessed.

Skin Testing & Allergy Alert

In line with manufacturers’ guidelines and our duty of care, we require all colour clients to have an up-to-date skin test. We will not apply colour to anyone under the age of 16 or to any guest — whether new or returning — without a valid skin test on file.
New colour clients must attend a consultation and complete a skin test at least 48 hours prior to any colour appointment.

Appointments and Deposits

To secure your appointment, we require a booking fee (deposit) as follows:

  • Cutting and Styling Appointments – A £20 deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • Colour Services – A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • In some cases, a 50% deposit may be requested depending on the length or type of appointment.
  • All telephone bookings must be secured with card payment at the time of booking.
  • Any appointment not secured with a deposit will be automatically cancelled.

All booking fees and deposits are non-refundable. This policy ensures that your time with us is reserved exclusively for you and allows us to manage our diary fairly for all clients.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or reschedule. This ensures your deposit or booking fee can be transferred to your next appointment.

If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the deposit or booking fee will be retained as a cancellation charge.
For appointments without a deposit, a charge of 50% of the cancelled or rescheduled service will apply and is payable immediately or at your next visit. A deposit may also be requested to secure future bookings.

Data Protection & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We handle all personal data in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Your information is securely stored either within our IT systems or in locked cabinets, accessible only to authorised team members. We retain client records for up to four years following your last visit, after which they will be deleted unless legal requirements oblige us to keep them longer.

Please note, we do not store or have access to any payment card details.

Complaints

We aim for every guest to leave the salon fully satisfied. While complaints are rare, we take any concerns seriously. If you have an issue, please speak directly with a senior team member or Sam, the salon owner, as soon as possible. This allows us to address the matter fairly, efficiently, and with care, ensuring it is resolved to your satisfaction.
